John zorn currently does not play the saxophone, the recording is from the year 2013. Do you have more information about the album?
JZ still plays the saxophone for sure; not that often, but he does (for instance with Thurston Moore in november : http://houselist.bowerypresents.com/2016/11/28/thurston-moorejohn-zorn-rough-trade-nyc-november-23-2016/).
He will play at The Stone on december 15.

Clearly John Zorn plays the saxophone, improvisation live, or performance with masada, electric masada, old projects ... JZ Currently studying piano, and is not making new compositions, just look at tzadik records ... where he is only acting as Composer and arranger, thanks for the information, greetings from Chile.
