James Moore plays John Zorn's Book of Heads, #2

 


On Saturday, June 16, 8:00 pm at the Incubator Arts Project in St. Mark's Church (formerly the Ontological Theater) James Moore gave a complete recital of The Book of Heads, John Zorn's strange and wonderful collection of guitar solos. These pieces are rarely performed in their entirety, due to the unique set-up and challenges of each individual piece, not to mention the arsenal of guitars, effects, balloons, children's toys, and common household objects that are required for a complete reading! This was part of IAP's June Days festival.
